If I had half the theological mind as you,
it would help me love my God more.
Learning from you has given me that half.
So thank you for sharing with me all that you've learnt.
If I had half the energy and enthusiasm about my own faith as you still do,
it would push me beyond boundaries and barriers.
Seeing the way you've lived your life has given me that half.
So thank you for showing me that enthusiasm and energy does not belong to any age group.
If I had half the humility and patience as you,
it would make me a better ambassador of our faith.
Watching your willingness to be silent in storms of uncharitable abuse,
and your unceasing patience toward unbelievers, has given me that half.
So thank you for assuring me that it is still possible to live in quiet trust.
